- When saving the files, which have numbers in the name, with the scroll wheel you can change the number increment. Its enough to hoover over the field and use the wheel.
- I love the ability to RM Click on any node in geo container and then quickly save to any format you like, like .fbx or .obj
- In the same way, we can export UV lines as a 2d map
- Use Scroll Wheel + Middle Mouse button in drop-down menus to scroll over the menu list items, then accept with MMB
- Radial Menu in Node Network (N)
- Group Selection within Selection Tool
- Shift + R to start Karma
- Use Shift + LMB in Tab node menu to select multiple nodes
- Use CTRL + PageUP/PageDown to change between panes. The same can be done with CTRL+Tab.
- Now this one, is a gold one I cannot live without anymore. I figured that if you bind PageUP/PageDown to your mouse Forward/Back, you can go over your node network from the viewport and other panes. This saves me so much time and clicking it's insane that SideFX doesn't talk about it at all. You can also use the Shift modifier to jump left and right too. That one doesn't always work as you would like, but it can work nicely in some cases.
- Home/End buttons are also nice, as you can jump either to 1st or last node in the network...
- X,C, V Radial Menus
- Ability of some SOP's to directly interact with Construction Plane...e.g. Knife, Clip
- Orientation Picking + Detach Mode + Pivot Mode (Those work with almost anything)
- Modeling tools that have the ability to interact directly from the viewport with mouse buttons...e.g. PolyBevel and Scroll Wheel
- Drag and Drop parameter values from one to another channel for Drop Actions e.g. Text, Copy Relative Reference...etc
- Ctrl + MMB to reset to default values
- Shift + RMB to confirm action from the viewport. Much better then hitting Enter all the time.
- Drag & Drop Materials from Material Palette, now available in Solaris too, even though have some limitations.
- Press Alt + LMB on node Output to create a Merge node automatically if two Nodes are selected prior to that (Alt modifier needs to be used twice in this case).
